Golden light, packed streets and thousands of personal goals. A look back at photographing the Stockholm Half Marathon.
The Stockholm Half Marathon is one of my favourite days of the year to work. The race comes in the late summer light, and the city turns into one long cheering crowd.
Photographing a race is about timing and patience. I look for the places where the light falls just right and where the runners give everything: the climbs, the bridges and the final stretch towards the finish.
Thank you to every runner, volunteer and supporter who made the day so special. See you on the start line next year.
