Between assignments I walk the city with a camera. Street photography keeps the eye sharp and reminds me that stories are everywhere.
Go slow. Stand on one corner for a while and let the scene come to you — the light, the people and the rhythm of the street.
Watch for contrast: old and new, light and shadow, movement and stillness. Stockholm, with its water, bridges and narrow lanes, is full of it.
And always respect the people you photograph. A smile and a short chat often lead to the best pictures.
